Inspired by a private fishing lodge in Alaska and built by the Foundation Matters charity, this remarkable project demonstrates the versatility, scale and enduring beauty of precision-engineered log architecture.

Extending to an impressive 1,150 sqm (12,371 sq ft), the Alaskan has been designed to welcome and accommodate more than 60 guests during affordable holiday camps for children and young people. At its heart is a magnificent great room, complemented by a commercial kitchen, games room and a range of thoughtfully planned spaces that encourage connection, recreation and shared experiences.
